I have lived, volunteered, worked, travelled and studied in over 30 countries, including living in Australia, New Zealand, India, Indonesia, and of course, the US homeland.   A former Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholar, ski bum, health educator, campaign organizer, I have traveled both solo, with friends, a boyfriend in a variety of situations.   Always inspired by the amazing people I have met, I want to help and inspire others to have their own travel adventure (domestic or overseas) and how to make it both worthwhile, and affordable.

I am known for spontaneity and for quitting my job to move half-way around the world for a boy I’ve only been seeing for a couple months.   More than 5 years and 5 continents later, we’re still together and are living in Boston while we finish school and plan our next big adventure.

Behind “Chai For the Road”  While waiting for buses, I like to order a cup of chai.  And of course, the bus or rickshaw always seems to come moments after I get my chai.  Inconvenient at times, but always delicious!
